Add into your bowl the mayonnaise, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sweet pickle relish, fine ground kosher salt, and fresh sour cream. Moving along, next take out a metal whisk and vigorously stir these ingredients together until your tartar sauce is smooth and creamy. Once you have finished mixing the sauce together, tightly seal the mixing bowl with a lid, and then place the bowl into the refrigerator to chill for at least one to two hours. Chilling your tartar sauce is a required step to this recipe, as it will sharpen and blend all of those delicious flavors together.
